The Status of the Italic
My graduate dissertation was on the development of the
italic type from the Renaissance until now.
An important part was made up of interviews with famous
typographers - J.F Porchez, Erik Spiekermann, Robert Slibach,
Martin Majoor and Gerrit Noorzji - which helped place current
developments in context, and raise questions about what the
future may hold for the italic type.
